Food Challenge 101

 Hello Everyone,

My name is Stephanie.  I am embarking on a food journey for the next ten days where I will be giving up Pop-Tarts.  My goal is to see 1. if I can even do it since they are my go-to breakfast item and 2. if I can lose any weight by giving up this sugary treat of mine.  Why did I pick Pop-Tarts to give up?  According to an article in the American Council on Science and Health titled Are Pop-Tarts Food? they broke down the ingredients of these treats and concluded that they aren't necessarily made up of anything healthy for you.  So I think I can do a better job of starting my day with healthier food options than something that doesn't contain anything good for my body.

I hope to encourage anyone reading my blog to see if they can give up any indulgent treat too and see what it does for them.
